NYT Strands today (game #690) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #690, are…
- BLISS
- ECSTASY
- ELATION
- EUPHORIA
- RHAPSODY
- SPANGRAM: SEVENTHHEAVEN
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 3 hints
I didn’t get much sleep last night, so I really struggled to focus on today’s letters soup and needed three hints to get me across the line – and that was after I spotted BLISS in my normal left-hand corner starting spot.
So, seeing as there were only five search words, my success rate, including the spangram, was a terrible 50%.
My sorry display did prompt me to stream Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Along with Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty and Breakfast in America by Supertramp it’s one of the 1970s songs I hate to admit I really like.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands answers (Wednesday, January 21, game #689)
- GLOAT
- TEASE
- BURP
- SHOUT
- STARE
- POINT
- INTERRUPT
- SPANGRAM: DONTBERUDE
