Strands is the NYT’s latest word game after the likes of Wordle, Spelling Bee and Connections – and it’s great fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands hints.

I labored over this game for longer than average and had to resort to a couple of hints to make a dent in the search.
Even after getting FUNNY and CHARMING I wasn’t sure what the theme “let me count the ways” meant, but I figured it was something to do with positive attributes.
It took me until the very end to get the spangram and even then I wasn’t sure what it would be until I finished connecting all the letters. Not my greatest game; I hope it was more fun for you.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the NYT’s not-so-new-any-more word game, following Wordle and Connections. It’s now a fully fledged member of the NYT’s games stable that has been running for a year and which can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
