NYT Strands today (game #646) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #646, are…
- REBOUND
- DUNK
- GUARD
- JUMP
- BLOCK
- DRIBBLE
- SCREEN
- SPANGRAM: BASKETBALL
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
I’ll be honest, my first thought when I saw the word “court” was tennis, something I still thought was possible when I got REBOUND.
My next find of DUNK put any ideas of Wimbledon to one side as I concentrated on words connected to BASKETBALL – of which there are an extraordinary number.
Despite my lack of knowledge this was an easy game, made fun by the excellent basketball-shaped spangram, top marks for that.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands answers (Monday, December 8, game #645)

- VERB
- ADJECTIVE
- ARTICLE
- CONJUNCTION
- SPANGRAM:PARTSOFSPEECH
