NYT Strands today (game #611) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #611, are…
- JAWS
- MILK
- HEAT
- CLUE
- CARS
- BABE
- HULK
- DUNE
- SPANGRAM: FOURLETTERMOVIES
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
It’s always a thrill to get a “perfect!” pop-up, even if it’s for an easy game.
Here, the four-letter theme meant minimal labour, while the spangram was a straightforward top-to-bottom affair despite its extraordinary length.
What was a challenge was trying to find some non-game words that were longer than four letters. The best I got was “cartel” and “trove”. Wonder if Strands will be five-letter films tomorrow?
Yesterday’s NYT Strands answers (Monday, November 3, game #610)
- WENT
- MARKET
- STAYED
- HOME
- ROAST
- BEEF
- NONE
- SPANGRAM: THISLITTLEPIGGY
