“Plane” and “The Bricklayer” actor Oliver Trevena has joined Felicity Jones and Vincent Cassel in the upcoming noir mystery-thriller “Eleven Missing Days.”
The film tells the true story of Christie (being played by Jones) who, at the height of her fame, became front-page news when she vanished in bizarre circumstances from her home. In a case of life imitating art, this whodunnit explores the investigation behind her disappearance, strangely resembling one of Christie’s own novels, where everyone in her life becomes a suspect, including her brother, Monty (Trevena).
Bertie Ellwood is directing from a screenplay by Ernesto Foronda, based on the book “Agatha Christie and the Eleven Missing Days” by Christie scholar Jared Cade. Currently in pre-production, the picture is on course to shoot this summer in the U.K. Range Select is representing U.S. rights.
Trevena has most recently appeared in “Hotel Tehran” with Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi, TIFF movie “The Cut” with Orlando Bloom, “Mermaid” with Mel Gibson, the comedy “Skinemax” with Rory Culkin and Paris Jackson and “Ice Fall” with Joel Kinnaman, for which he also served as executive producer.
He was also recently honored by the Rome Film Festival with a Breakout Actor award from his “Plane” co-star Gerard Butler at the premiere of action-thriller “The Paradox Effect,” in which he stars opposite Harvey Keitel and Olga Kurylenko. He also stars with the latter in “Misdirection,” which he also produced.
The Brit actor and producer continues to be repped by Untitled Entertainment, Independent Talent Group and law firm Rosenfeld, Meyer & Susman.
