One Night Only Trailer: Callum Turner, Monica Barbaro Star in Rom-com

Universal Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy “One Night Only,” starring Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner. The film is directed by “Anyone but You” helmer Will Gluck.

Per the logline, Barbaro and Turner “star as Allie and Owen, two love-starved strangers who crash into each other in an ever-so-slightly fictionalized New York City on the one night of the year when single people are allowed to have sex. Recently dumped Owen and hopeful romantic Allie might be the only two singles in the city looking for more than just a quick encounter. They both feel a spark when they meet, but a series of missteps and side quests complicate their night, keeping them apart. As they each race toward and away from each other across the city, they just might discover that the one thing they want most is closer than they think.”

In addition to directing, Gluck also re-wrote the script for “One Night Only.” He previously directed rom-com hits “Easy A,” “Friends With Benefits” and 2023’s “Anyone but You,” the Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell rom-com that made over $220 million at the box office worldwide.

Molly Ringwald stars as Turner’s mother, joined by LeVar Burton as her partner. Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, Este Haim, Ziwe, and King Princess round out the “One Night Only” cast. The film is produced by Gluck and Jacqueline Monetta via their Olive Bridge Entertainment film and television production company.
