Pokémon Winds & Waves New Eeveelution Has Gamers Excited Following Official Teaser

Set to launch some time next year, Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves marks the next major installment in the beloved Pokémon franchise. With the Nintendo series celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, it is no wonder that fans are immersing themselves in the world however they can, and what better way to do so than by learning more about a potential Gen 10 character? With the teaser recently being revealed, could this spell the arrival of a brand-new Eeveelution?

Pokémon Fans Are Convinced A New Eeveelution Is Coming

Revealed earlier this year, Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves is not only set to be the next mainline installment in the Pokémon video game franchise, but it will also introduce Gen 10. As such, players can expect a brand-new batch of Pokémon and, perhaps most excitingly, some never-before-seen evolutions. At the time of writing, we already know who our Starter Pokémon in Winds & Waves will be, but it was just recently that a fan theory hinted at the Eeveelution we have all been waiting for.

This news comes courtesy of Japan’s Pokémon anime team, which recently took to social media to talk about the upcoming arc for its show, Pokémon Horizons. Alongside information regarding the upcoming season, a brand-new poster was also unveiled, and it was this that captured fan’s attention. With Pokémon Horizons set to introduce Ditto as a new main character, perhaps following the success of Pokémon Pokopia, it was the character behind Ditto that led to speculation. According to leakers, this female character will somehow be connected to a new Gen 10 Pokémon who will first be unveiled in the Pokémon Horizons anime.

Pokémon Winds & Waves Land Next Year

Although it has not been confirmed, many fans soon took to social media to make one exciting guess. Could this be a new Eevolution? More specifically, could it be a Flying-type Eevolution? That is certainly what many fans are suggesting, especially as a Flying Eevolution has been a major talking point for the Pokémon community for many years. Not only that, but with the last Eeveelution taking place all the way back in 2013 with Fairy-type Sylveon in Pokémon X and Y, fans have been waiting a long time to see the next iteration.

For now, we will have to wait and see if this brand-new Eevolution will make an appearance in Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves when it launches some time in 2027.
