In other words, it’s not about betting on the best individual player, it’s about building the best team. Or in market terms, one can say that don’t chase star stocks, build a resilient portfolio.

Just like in cricket, where a team’s overall performance matters more than individual contribution, in investing, a well-constructed portfolio delivers better outcomes than relying on a few individual stocks.

The list of individual winners includes – Sai Sudharsan (GT), who took home the Orange Cap, smashing the most runs. Prasidh Krishna (GT), who grabbed the Purple Cap for the most wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav (MI) was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP), while Nicholas Pooran (LSG) hit the most sixes. Sai Sudharsan also topped the charts with the most fours. Vaibhav Suryavanshi (RR) won the Super Striker of the Season, and the Fair Play Award went to Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Surprisingly, not a single player from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) featured in any of these top categories. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lifted their first Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy in the season that concluded recently.
