    [

The fourth quarter earnings season is coming to a close and on Wednesday as many as 126 companies will announce their quarterly numbers. Key earnings to watch out include from HAL, Eicher Motor, Tata Power, Shree Cements and Jubilant Food.

Apart from the above, Apar Industries, Apollo Tyres, Arunis Abode, Aryaman Financial Services, Asahi India Glass, BASF India, DAM Capital Advisors, Kirloskar Brothers, KPI Green Energy, Maruti Infrastructure, Lupin among others will also declare their results.

    Eicher Motors Q4 expectations

Eicher Motors is likely to report 23% growth in its net sales to Rs 5189 crore, while the profit after tax is seen rising 15% YoY to Rs 1231 crore, according to Kotak Equities.Eicher Motors standalone volumes grew 24% YoY to 282,800 units and VECV volumes rose 11.3% YoY. EBITDA margins for the quarter are expected to contract by 130 bp YoY to 25.2% led by high RM costs.

Royal Enfield’s volumes increased 24% YoY in 4QFY25, led by strong demand trends in the domestic and export markets. As a result, the revenues are likely to increase 23% YoY, led by a 24% YoY volume uptick. The ASPs are likely to decline 1% YoY due to an inferior product and geography mix.

“We estimate the standalone EBITDA margin to increase 60 bps QoQ in 4QFY25, led by operating leverage benefits, a higher mix of exports and a lower launch cost, partly offset by higher marketing and advertising spends, along with an inferior product mix in the domestic market,” Kotak said.

    Tata Power Q4 expectations

Tata Power’s revenues are likely to stay modest in the quarter ended March 2024. The revenues are seen growing by 5% to Rs 17107 crore. Meanwhile, net profit is likely to stay flat Rs 903 crore, Kotak estimated.

The company’s earnings from the renewable portfolio will likely benefit from the higher capacity base and strong execution at Tata Power Solar. Analysts expect contained losses at Mundra, as the plant was operating under the cost-plus tariff model during the quarter.
