The upcoming live-action reboot of Resident Evil is set to premiere in theaters on September 18, 2026. Rather than adapting a familiar storyline from the iconic video games of the same name, the film will tell an original story with new characters. The story will follow Bryan, a courier played by Austin Abrams, who finds himself caught in the middle of a viral outbreak inside a hospital in Raccoon City.
