As a big LEGO fan, so much has caught my eye lately. From exciting new sets on the horizon to great deals popping up (hello there, May the 4th discounts), it’s been a great time to find something new to build. It’s not just Star Wars deals stealing the sale spotlight right now, either. The LEGO Icons Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter set is another on sale that’s crossed my radar over at Amazon (see it here). This is the only LEGO Dune set you can buy right now.
At the moment, this set has dropped to $131.99 at Amazon, which is 20% off its original list price of $164.99. More importantly, though, it’s just a few cents away from its lowest-ever price at the retailer of $131.95, which is a big win. If you’ve been hoping to build it, particularly with Dune, Part Three coming out later this year, this is a great time to buy it.
I think this looks like a fantastic set to piece together, too. It comes with 1,369 pieces that create an Ornithopter from the 2021 movie, complete with wings that fold out and flap alongside a deployable landing gear. There’s also a whole bunch of minifigures included with this set: Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho, and Baron Harkonnen.
The slideshow above can give you with a better look at some of these elements. Another thing to keep in mind is that it’s also a set angled towards those aged 18 and up, since it’s meant to be put on display once you’re finished building it rather than played with.
This deal is one of many to pop up recently, too. Looking for more LEGO to save on? Right now there’s a ton of Star Wars sets discounted at Amazon ahead of May the 4th, so you can grab a build to have just in time for Star Wars Day.
Another deal that’s worth taking advantage of right now at Amazon is on the LEGO Icons Back to the Future “Time Machine” set, which is currently sitting at its lowest price there. What better time to grab it?
And if you’re already looking ahead to Mother’s Day for gifts, make sure to check out the latest discount on the LEGO Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet.
