Skip the new model — this easy-to-miss MacBook Air deal at Amazon is clearly the best value option

Amazon is no stranger to price cuts on MacBooks, but every now and again, the retailer breaks ranks with a truly good discount. Today, it’s on the slightly older 2025 MacBook Air 13, which you can pick up for £849 (was £999).

This particular deal not only undercuts the latest 2026 model by £150, but it’s for the upgraded 512GB storage variant, meaning you don’t have to settle for a miserly 256GB version that was recently discontinued by the brand. In short, you’re getting a cheap MacBook Air here that’s almost identical to the latest model, albeit with a slightly less powerful and efficient chipset.

At £849, I’d even favourably compare the 2025 MacBook Air 13 to the new MacBook Neo. The latter is much, much cheaper at £549 (was £599), but it’s worth stretching for the MacBook Air if you’re looking for something that can handle more intensive workloads. And, there are other reasons to go for the Air, like a better screen, more ports, and more RAM on the baseline model.
