Star Wars: Queen Amidala Officially Returns In 2027

Portrayed by Natalie Portman, Queen Amidala, or as we know her better, Padmé was the Queen and later Senator of Naboo, eventually entering into a forbidden marriage with the Jedi Anakin Skywalker which would ultimately lead to the destruction of the galaxy as we know it. That being said, there is no denying that Padmé was one of the most iconic characters in the prequel Star Wars trilogy, before she ultimately dies in 2005’s Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith after birthing Luke and Leia.

Although many of us remember Padmé’s iconic look in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, it is perhaps her first appearance that has stuck with us the most in her role as Queen Amidala. Wearing an impressive headpiece, white make-up, and a bright red robe, it is an image we can all conjure and now, it has been memorialized forever.
