Steam Makes 4 Incredible Games Completely Free Until June 22

[

The weekend is here once more and whilst we have a bit of a lull when it comes to major game releases, now is the perfect time to head over to Steam as the PC storefront is currently marking four highly-rated games as completely free to play for a limited time.

As part of a ‘Free Weekend’ campaign, these upcoming games are completely free to play up until 22 June with absolutely no catch. As such, you will be able to sink as much time as possible into the titles over the next couple of days. From an ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ simulation game to a mecha fighter, this selection of games really does have it all.

So, without further ado, let us take a look at the Steam games currently available for free as part of its ‘Free Weekend’ campaign.

First up is Two Point Museum, a casual building simulation title as part of the ongoing franchise by Two Point Studios. As you can probably already gather, this entry will see you put in charge of building, decorating, and running a successful museum. However, with a museum only being as successful as its collection, it will be up to you to curate it and explore in order to discover brand-new artifacts. With staff to manage, guests to make happy and donations to earn, no two days will be the same at Two Point Museum.

Next is Stellaris, a sci-fi grand strategy game where you will explore a galaxy full of wonders. This includes interacting with diverse alien races, discovering strange new worlds, and expanding the reach of your empire in a game filled with infinite possibilities. Developed by Paradox Development Studio, Stellaris will see you forge a galactic empire and make a home amongst the stars.

Fans of mechas will want to check out MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries by developer Piranha Games Inc. Taking place in the year 3015, this FPS will see battlefields dominated by war machines known as BattleMechs, and it will be up to you to pilot your very army. Level entire cities, decimate the enemy, and follow a quest for glory and revenge as you enjoy either solo or four-player PvE co-op in this adrenaline-fuelled mecha shooter.

Last, but by no means least, is Speedball, a brand-new entry in the Bitmap Brothers series. As you venture into the year 2138, you will navigate a grim reality as mega-corporations use the sport Speedball in order to distract the downtrodden masses from their miserable lives. With no holds barred, players will take part in high-intensity arena games which require speed, agility, and aggression. “Once an underground sport reviled for its brutality, Speedball has risen to unprecedented heights of popularity and profitability. Do you have what it takes to dominate the arena and take your team to the top?”

As mentioned, these four Steam games will only remain free to play until 22 June, so you have just days to get stuck into some incredible titles and underrated gems before they head back to full price. Happy gaming!
