Stranger Things Photo Book, Behind-the-Scenes Photos: Buy Online

“Stranger Things” fans will soon be able to revisit a decade in Hawkins through a new luxury photo book from Assouline.

Set for release in September, “Stranger Things” is a 392-page hardcover featuring film stills, behind-the-scenes photography, concept art and personal images captured on the set of the Netflix sci-fi series. Written by creators Matt and Ross Duffer, the book includes an introduction from filmmaker Frank Darabont, who directed two episodes of the show’s fifth and final season.

Priced at $195, the 11-by-14-inch tome comes housed in a translucent red acrylic slipcase stamped with the show’s initials. The book is part of Assouline’s Legends Collection, which spotlights major figures and properties across film, music, fashion and sports. It will be available to shop at assouline.com and Assouline boutiques worldwide starting Sept. 8.

Preview images include an early black-and-white portrait of Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, the Duffer brothers standing inside an Upside Down set and production shots showing Brown filming several of the series’ effects-heavy sequences. Other photos capture Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery as Max and Billy, the original young cast members together during Season 2 and a candlelit scene from the final season.

“This book shares with my fellow fans images of a time and a place and an effort that will never be repeated,” Darabont writes in the introduction.

The release arrives as Netflix and its publishing partners continue extending the life of “Stranger Things” beyond its series finale. The Assouline edition follows “Stranger Things: The Official Story Behind the Legendary Series,” a separate making-of book released exclusively through Target in June. That title features interviews, production photography and a broader guide to the show’s characters, mythology and creation. Additional publishing releases have included a 320-page junior novelization of Season 5, complete with eight pages of color images, while “Stranger Things: The Complete Scripts, Season 5” collects the scripts, dialogue and character directions for all eight final episodes alongside an introduction from the Duffers.

The final-season rollout also produced an extensive slate of merchandise, including figures, play sets, plush toys and other collectibles from Jazwares, as well as two “Stranger Things”-themed Casio watches.
