Prime Video’s newest action series stars Ted Lasso‘s Hannah Waddinghamand Ma‘s Octavia Spenceras two friends who thought they knew each other like the back of their hand. But when Judith (Waddingham) is revealed to be a secret assassin. Their friendship is tested, and the two are on the run together! And now the first-look images paint a picture that makes Ride or Die look like a pretty cool show to watch, featuring the action duo of Spencer and Waddingham.
The new images for the show, titled Ride or Die, feature its all-star cast all looking dapper with Bill Nighy and his amazing glasses, Ed Skrein walking alongside Spencer and Waddingham, and so many more! And these images are kind of iconic. Because who wouldn’t love to see Waddingham on a motorcycle? Ride or Die is created by Tessa Coates, who also serves as executive producer with the series’ showrunner Matt Miller. Ant-Mandirector Peyton Reed directed the series and fans can now have a deeper look at what to expect from the upcoming Prime Video adventure.The series also stars Sylvia Hoeks, Calam Lynch, Savannah Steyn, Jamie Parker, and Jacky Ido.

The idea of a buddy cop film isn’t new. Some take the idea quite literally, like the Jake Johnsonand Damon Wayans Jr. movie Let’s Be Cops. Others are a bit more loose with the interpretation. With Ride or Die, it seems to teeter the line between making a joke of buddy cop movies and elevating the genre. Plus, isn’t it fun to see Spencer in any kind of genre? And to put a “buddy cop” feel into a series is definitely going to be one fans won’t want to miss.
