January is coming to a close, and Currys has confirmed that its big New Year sale ends on Tuesday, so there isn’t long left to score up to 40% off some top tech. I’ve taken one last look through the sale and picked out the 14 best deals I recommend buying across TVs, laptops, appliances, phones, and more.

I pointed out this laptop in my previous roundups, but now the excellent Acer Aspire 14 is even cheaper at £449 (now £699). This is a fantastic price for a modern, powerful and efficient device that features a speedy Snapdragon X processor, 16GB of RAM, a decent 512GB SSD and incredible battery life of up to 28 hours. It’s the laptop I’d buy if you need something capable for all-around everyday use and many demanding work tasks.
Other great deals in the sale that I’d consider grabbing include this Ninja Foodi FlexDrawer Air Fryer for £199.99 (was £269.99), the excellent value iPhone 16e for its Black Friday price of £499 (was £549), and Philips PerfectDraft Beer Dispenser for £159 (was £169) if you need an eye-catching party piece.
Remember that the Currys New Year sale ends on February 3, and then we’ll be in a very quiet period for a while in terms of sales events. It likely won’t be until the spring when the next ones launch, so if there’s some tech you want before then, I’d suggest buying now if you want to have the best chance of paying the lowest price.
