The five-star Samsung S90F is ‘a true 2025 TV hero,’ and right now it’s the ultimate Super Bowl TV deal thanks to a record-low price cut

What do you get if you want a high-end TV that’s great for sports, gaming, movies, and streaming? Right now, my money is on the stunning Samsung S90f, which is on sale for a record-low price of $1,399.99 (was $2,499) at the official Samsung Store.

This was one of my favorite TV deals from Black Friday last year, and I’m glad (but not entirely surprised) to see it featured at Samsung in the run-up to this year’s Super Bowl.

The S90f was the recipient of a five-star rating when we reviewed it last year, and even before today’s price cut, we noted it as a particularly good value option. It’s not the highest-end OLED TV in Samsung’s range, but it delivers much of the performance of the flagship S95F for a more reasonable price. You’re still getting an amazing picture and support for 144Hz refresh rate, which will please gamers in particular.

Our review stated, ‘The Samsung 65S90F delivers much of the performance of Samsung’s flagship OLED TV for far less money, making it a true 2025 TV hero.’ That’s high praise that continues to be the case for 2026 – even if the S90F is due to be replaced by the new S90H variant later this year.

Deep-diving into the TV’s specs a little further, alongside the excellent OLED panel, the S90F also features Samsung’s latest AI picture engine, providing excellent image upscaling for 4K. Gamers will also be pleased to note that the TV also features four HDMI 2.1 ports with 4K 165Hz support, FreeSync and G-Sync, and an ultra-low 9.2ms input lag for super-smooth gaming. While the gaming specs arguably stand out as a selling point, the S90F’s panel is also superbly bright for an OLED – making it perfect for both movies and sports (such as the upcoming Super Bowl).
