Following weeks of speculation, DJI‘s new entry-level drone landed today in the UK and Australia. The DJI Lito is available in two iterations — we got our hands on the more advanced option ahead of its launch, and awarded it a perfect five stars in our DJI Lito X1 review.
But what about those of you living in the US, where — thanks to a ban on new DJI products — the Lito won’t be arriving any time soon? Although we’re hopeful this pocket-sized powerhouse might land on US shores at some point (the DJI Mini 5 Pro was similarly absent from the brand’s official US store at its October 2025 launch, but has now made its way to third-party retailers in the US), if you don’t want to wait around, I have good news.

More affordable drones to consider
Not sure the Lito is the right drone for you? We’ve rounded up some alternatives to consider below. Unfortunately given the current situation, DJI remains the standout brand in this area.
For those who want to shoot selfie video, the DJI Neo 2 is an unbeatable affordable option. It’s not discounted right now, but even at full price it’s very budget-friendly. The DJI Mini 3 is a pricier option but has some deep discounts (we called it a “fantastic entry-level choice”). There aren’t tons of non-DJI options we’d recommend, with the exception of the Potensic Atom 2, which is well worth a look.
