Crunchyroll confirmed that the next English dub episode of Daemons of the Shadow Realm has been delayed due to production issues. Instead of continuing on its expected schedule, the next dubbed installment is now set to arrive on May 16. After that, the platform says weekly releases are expected to resume as normal.

On paper, a one-week delay may not sound disastrous. In practice, though, it is a disappointing interruption for a series that was already trying to build momentum with English-speaking audiences. SimulDub consistency matters, especially for a new title still fighting to establish itself in one of anime’s most competitive streaming environments with amazing series like Witch Hat Atelier stealing the spotlight.

Dub scheduling has become one of the clearest ways modern anime platforms maintain weekly engagement.
