Not long ago we heard reports from South Korean press that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series would be unveiled on February 25, and now we’re hearing the same again – but this time from one of the most reputable sources in the smartphone leaking business.
According to leaker Evan Blass – who has a superb track record for leaks – the date of February 25 is “100% correct”, so they sound extremely confident of it.
So for now, that’s our best guess of the release date, and given how strongly Blass seems to believe in that date, we’d be surprised if it turns out to be wrong.

A small price hike
That means there shouldn’t be too much longer to wait for these phones, but hopefully long enough for potential buyers to save some money, as the Samsung Galaxy S26 series won’t be cheap, and in fact the latest leak suggests these phones might cost more than their predecessors.
According to South Korean site FN News (via Android Central), the entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series will cost between $30 / £22 / AU$45 and $50 / £37 / AU$75 more than the Samsung Galaxy S25 line in South Korea, though it’s unclear whether those same price rises would apply in other regions.
For reference, the Samsung Galaxy S25 starts at $799 / £799 / AU $1,399, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus starts at $999 / £999 / AU$1,699, and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra starts at $1,299 / £1,249 / AU$2,149, so you might have to pay slightly more than that.
On the other hand, another recent leak suggested that pricing would remain unchanged, so we’re far less sure of this than the release date. Assuming these phones do launch on February 25, we should know their official pricing quite soon.
