- Baseus reveals three new headphone products at IFA 2025

Baseus has revealed three new headphones at IFA 2025, including the world’s first dual-driver, open earbuds. All of these products are set to launch today, on September 4th.
Named the Inspire range, the three products are as follows: the Inspire XC1, the aforementioned world’s first dual-driver open earbuds; the Inspire XH1, a pair of noise-canceling headphones, and the Inspire XP1, a pair of noise-cancelling true wireless earbuds with an in-ear fit. All three have ‘Sound by Bose’, with an audio profile tuned by the headphones giant.
The Inspire XC1 open earbuds are powered by dual drivers, one 10.8mm dynamic driver for low frequencies, and a Knowles balanced-armature driver for mid-high frequencies, which is said to be a world-first for the open earbud market.
They feature Hi-Res Audio support with LDAC certification, supporting up to 192kHz/24-bit wireless transmission, and there’s also support for Dolby Spatial Audio for more immersive listening.
The XC1 also boast up to 40 hours of playtime from the case, with up to eight hours per charge, putting them up there with the best open earbuds in that sense, though not quite besting the OneOdio OpenRok Pro, our current pick for best open earbuds for battery life.
They’re IPX7 water resistant, and boast a claimed wind noise reduction of up to 25km/h, with a four-way mic array powered by AI for calls. The Inspire XC1 launch at $129 / €149.99 (roughly £129 / AU$266), putting them in the same region as the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2.

Next up is the Inspire XH1, Baseus’ entry into the competitive world of the best noise cancelling headphones. The XH1 also have Sound by Bose, support Hi-Res Audio with LDAC, and Dolby Spatial Audio processing. They come with adaptive active noise cancellation that’s claimed to be able to reduce noise by -48dB, making them potentially a good option for flights and commutes.
The headline for the XH1 here is the battery life, which Baseus says offers up to 100 hours playtime with ANC off and 65 hours with ANC on. This would actually beat the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100s, our current pick for best for battery life in our best headphones guide (they offer 100 hours ANC on and 60 hours ANC off). The XH1 are set to launch at $149 / €169.99 (roughly £146 / AU$302).
Finally, the Inspire XP1 are Baseus’ new entry into the extremely busy true wireless earbud market. These earbuds are again Bose tuned, support Dolby Spatial Audio and feature adaptive ANC that’s claimed to reduce noise up to -50dB. The XP1 are labelled with eight hours of playtime (ANC off) and 45 hours with the case. That earbuds figure isn’t particularly high, but the figure including the case puts them in competition with the JBL Live Beam 3, our current pick for best earbuds for battery life (12 hours playtime with 48 hours from the case) in our best earbuds guide.
The XP1 are set to launch at $129 / €149.99 (roughly £129 / AU$266), putting them in the same price range as the Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 and the JBL Live Beam 3.
Price vs performance
Baseus has gone pretty aggressive with its pricing, with the Inspire range matching or undercutting many similarly specced rivals. The Inspire XC1 are the real headliner here, shaking things up in the open earbud market by offering dual drivers, which may give it than sonic advantage over other open earbuds. Open earbuds have exploded in popularity in 2025, so it looks like Baseus is getting in at the right time, if it’s nailed the sound profile.
Elsewhere, the XH1 wireless headphones could be a budget bargain if they can pull off their suggested battery performance for the price, but the five-star Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 will take some beating, even if the XH1 are $90 / £50 cheaper on average.
The XP1 look like they’ll have the toughest time of the three products. They’re not just close in price to the JBL Live Beam 3 and Cambridge Audio buds I already mentioned, but also the likes of the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (2024). But if the performance is there as well as battery life, and if Baseus can get aggressive with price reductions, maybe they can find an edge.
