These triple-driver wireless earbuds look like high-end IEMs, but are priced like budget buds

  • Soundpeats H3 wireless earbuds launch for $129 (about £95 / AU$195)
  • 1 dynamic driver combined with 2 balanced armatures
  • Snapdragon Sound, LDAC and aptX Lossless for higher-res audio

Soundpeats specializes in audio products that punch above their price tag, and its new H3 earbuds follow in that tradition: they deliver LDAC, aptX Lossless, an elaborate sound system, and hybrid ANC for an impressively low price.

The Soundpeats H3 are triple-driver earbuds with two custom balanced armature drivers and a 12mm composite dynamic driver. They’re powered by Qualcomm’s QCC3091 chip, which delivers Snapdragon Sound, plus the LDAC and aptX Lossless streaming I mentioned above. Those are specs to compete with entries among the best earbuds that cost a lot more.

They’re also a lot more stylish than I’d expect from budget-focused companies like Soundpeats – the patterned gold finish on the buds and their fairly large size look like they’re leaning more towards something like Campfire Audio Solaris Stellar Horizon than AirPods, though I suspect these don’t have quite as high build quality as those.
