This color-changing E Ink guitar absolutely rocks, and I wish I could afford it

    • Cream’s guitar is like a Gibson and a Kindle had a special hug
    • Customizable over Bluetooth with seven mixable colors
    • $3,500, shipping summer 2026

Many musicians suffer from a terrible affliction called GAS (gear acquisition syndrome), which makes us easy marks for guitar stores and online sellers: we’re on a never-ending quest to find the ultimate guitar.

And to be quite honest with you, Cream Guitars isn’t helping the afflicted: it’s just announced a really innovative, high-tech guitar that I can’t possibly justify and absolutely want (via Notebookcheck).

The DaVinci is a thrilling mix of old and new. The body resembles a Gibson Explorer or Firebird with its offset shape, bold lines and pointy corners, but that body is covered with a kind of color e-ink display that can completely transform the way it looks.
