This controller is one of the best I’ve ever reviewed, and works across PC, Switch, and phones — and it has a unique feature I haven’t seen bettered

I reviewed plenty of controllers in my time, but I have to admit I forgot about this one. But with the Manba One on sale right now for $55.99 (was $69.99) on Amazon, I’m reminded of what an interesting controller it is, thanks to its unique central display, a feature I wish more controllers had.

Manba One review, I noted the snappy performance of the controller itself. The sticks are precise and smooth, while the face buttons offer good feedback. The D-pad is easy to use, and I didn’t trigger directions I didn’t want to.

The best part about the controller, though, is the tweaks you can make via the screen. For instance, you can change the curve profile of the analog sticks, which can really make a difference and optimize your experience based on what kind of game you’re playing. And since there’s no software to contend with, you can make these adjustments on the fly.

It’s not a perfect controller, though. I found the travel distance of the triggers a little too short, and the customizable M buttons underneath are a little hard to use. But these are fairly minor gripes, and the multiplatform compatibility makes the Manba One even better value.
