Timothy Olyphant’s Hit $1.7B Sci-Fi Franchise Series Gets New Season 3 Return Update

[

Timothy Olyphant’s hit FX show just got a promising season 3 update.

Olyphant remains best known for leading the cast of FX’s Justified, but he is a common sight in the broader TV show and movie landscape, even appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time…in Hollywood in 2019. Last year, he starred in a sci-fi show that further expanded the world of a $1.7 billion franchise, and the show’s future is now looking bright.

Speaking with Deadline, creator and showrunner Noah Hawley confirms that Alien: Earth season 3 is on his mind. Though no official renewal has arrived and season 2 is only just about to start production in May, Hawley sees future seasons as a strong possibility. Check out his comment below:

“It’s my hope – I have a place that I’m going, but I don’t know how long it will take me to get there. Assuming that the price of execution and the audience stays commensurate, we could go for as long as we want. If we nurture them, these franchises can give back for a very long time.”

More to come…
