    MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – The United States has “significant concerns” about issues which could spring up as a result of the popular election of judges in Mexico, the U.S. embassy said in a diplomatic note uploaded by the ambassador on Tuesday.

    Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said earlier in the day that he had paused relations with the U.S. embassy, but not the U.S. as a whole, after the ambassador’s comments on the reform.
