US troops attacked in Syria, no initial reports of injuries, official says By Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. troops in Syria were attacked by a drone, a U.S. official told Reuters on Friday, though there were no injuries according to initial reports.

“Initial reports do not indicate any injuries, however medical evaluations are ongoing. We are currently conducting a damage assessment,” the official added, speaking on the condition of anonymity.
