Now that we’re into the final day of Amazon’s four-day Prime Day event, running June 23-26, this is your last chance to save on some deals we likely won’t see again until the end of the year.
Prime Day has increasingly become a genuine rival to Black Friday when it comes to gaming deals, and 2026 is proving no different. With less than 24 hours left to go, time is running out, and some of the best offers have already started selling through.
TL;DR – Best Prime Day Gaming Deals Today
Whether you’re on PS5, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Xbox, or PC, there are plenty of discounts worth checking out across games, accessories, storage, and more.
For starters, we’ve been seeing plenty of interest in the PlayStation Portal, which has dropped to around $167 through Amazon Resale promotions.
There’s also been a remarkably healthy amount of Switch 2 deals in the sale that I’m particularly hyped about. For starters, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond remains one of the easiest recommendations, with the original Switch version down to $29.99.
Better yet, the Switch 2 upgrade costs just $10, bringing the total to $40, which is still cheaper than buying the standalone Switch 2 Edition. There’s also the best deal yet on Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which is currently down to $44.99.
Beyond games, Switch 2 owners should also keep an eye on microSD Express card deals. Prices have fallen to around $39.99, making this one of the better opportunities to expand your storage without paying the usual premium attached to the newer format.
With just two days still remaining in the sale, these are some of the deals I’d be prioritising before stock starts disappearing or discounts start to dry up.
Switch 2 Game Deals
Nintendo fans have a surprisingly strong selection of game deals to browse on day two of Prime Day. Between first-party Nintendo titles, major third-party releases, and several Switch 2 upgrades seeing discounts, it’s one of the strongest Nintendo game sales we’ve seen outside of Black Friday.
As I mentioned, Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Legends: Z-A are some of the best, and most popular deals of the sale so far. But, I should also mention the tremendous offerings on Mario Tennis Fever, Hades 2, and Super Mario Odyssey as well. Mario Tennis is another Switch 2 game to get its first big discount, dropping to just below $50, while Hades 2 has fallen to $40.
Hades 2 got a 10/10 in its review for IGN, with Len Hafer saying: “Hades 2’s art is breathtaking, its characters are captivating, the combat is fast, fun, endlessly varied, and tactical, and the music is spectacular.” Not bad for 40 bucks, I’d snap this up ASAP.
Switch 2 Console Deal?
If you haven’t already got a Switch 2, I’d recommend checking out the “Switch 2: Choose Your Own Game Bundle” which is the best offer you can find on the console right now.
It’s especially notable considering the console’s $50 price hike incoming in September this year. Total savings, not excluding the incoming price change, is $80.
The game you get is a digital download, and you can choose between Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokémon Pokopia. Despite it not being a Prime Exclusive deal, this remains as one of the most popular offers in the sale right now, likely because we’re all suddenly realising that September isn’t actually that far away now.
There’s also a Switch 2 Amazon Resale deal, which drops the console to around $341 (see here), but it’s been going in and out of stock all day, so it’s worth checking in every so often to see if it’s available again.
Switch 2 Memory Card for $40
And, if you’re looking for something to store all your games on, then look no further than the Samsung 256GB MicroSD Express Card for Switch 2, which is also down to just $39.99 — it’s a wonderful deal and probably the best we’ll see this year.
Quite a few games have now been released for the Switch 2 and some of them require an enormous amount of space. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the most gigabyte-hungry game to date, requiring 90-100GB all by itself. Other plus-sized games include Split Fiction (70GB), Cyberpunk 2077 (60GB), and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment (44GB).
Nowadays it’s completely possible to download just three or four games and find yourself completely out of onboard storage. The Switch 2 has 256GB of onboard storage. This card will double your total capacity. If you buy anything during the Prime Day sale, I’d make it this.
10% Off Nintendo eShop Cards
Right now, the $10 Nintendo eShop Gift Card (Digital Code) is down to just $8.98 at Amazon, saving you 10% on your purchase.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this discount, but after disappearing for a while, it’s back ahead of Prime Day and ready for anyone looking to stock up on eShop credit before the biggest sales event of the summer.
Better still, you can buy up to two gift cards per order, making it easy to grab one for yourself and another as a gift, or simply bank some extra credit for upcoming releases.
While you might be thinking, well, it’s just $1 off, that’s not much of a saving. Yet, it’s also free credit for those always making digital purchases on their Switch or Switch 2. $1 in savings is better than absolutely nothing, that’s for sure.
For starters, Nintendo eShop credit can be used on far more than just full games. You can put it towards downloadable content, Nintendo Switch Online memberships, in-game currency, and a huge range of indie titles and digital exclusives.
PS5 Game Deals
If you’re looking to build out your PlayStation video game library this summer, Prime Day is here to help you do it and save some extra cash along the way.
Among my favorite deals in the sale, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has dropped to just $25, an outstanding price for a remake of one of the most celebrated stealth games ever made. There’s also Resident Evil Requiem, arguably one of the best games of 2026 so far, and certainly one of my favorite horror-action games.
That deal price marks a new all-time low for it at Amazon, while Clair Obscur’s price marks a return to its lowest price point ever at Amazon. I definitely think now is a great time to make a move if you haven’t yet got round to playing them.
PlayStation Portal Deals
For those desperately hunting a PlayStation Portal deal after its price increase earlier this year, it’s available used, in like new condition, for up to 33% off as part of Amazon’s Prime Day Sale.
The wireless handheld, not a true console on its own but a way to locally stream games from your PS5, costs $166.87 after an extra 15% discount that’s applied at checkout.
PS5 Console Deals?
Unfortuntely, the PS5 Pro deal is currently sold out – at least for now.
But, we’re occassionally seeing the Amazon Resale deal restock every few hours, so it’s worth checking back in as much as you can to see if you can snag the deal before anyone else can.
Good luck, and good hunting!
Free Best Buy $50 Gift Card When Buying GTA 6 with an Eligible Console
Best Buy has announced that it’s giving away free “$50 reward certificates” for anyone bundling a Grand Theft Auto 6 preorder with an eligible PlayStation 5 or Xbox console.
To be eligible for the promo, buyers are required to have a “My Best Buy” membership. New and existing members are eligible for the deal. My Best Buy is free to join, but it also has two separate premium tiers (Plus or Total) with their own benefits. These cost $29.99 or $199.99 per year, respectively.
Perfect TV for PS5 – Best Deal
If you’ve got the budget for it, there’s nothing on the market that’s better than an OLED TV. And among OLED TV brands, I wouldn’t recommend anyone over LG now that the most popular size has dropped in price for Amazon Prime Day.
The 2025 65″ LG Evo C5 OLED Smart TV is currently $1,199.99 with free shipping at Amazon and LG direct, as well as other retailers. This is the best price I’ve seen so far this year.
If you’ve been considering grabbing the remote player, chances are good that this is one of the best deals you’ll see for a while. Be sure to act fast, as these Amazon Resale deals tend to go quickly.
Xbox Deals
Look Xbox fans, I’m sorry you’re at the bottom of the list, but you can’t blame me. Plus, a good chuck of the PS5 deals also apply to you good folk, so there’s isn’t a whole bunch of differences to really dig into. Still, I’ve done my best here.
