VPN support lands on next-gen Amazon Fire TV Stick – but only two VPNs are ready

    • Amazon releases a Vega OS update, adding VPN support
    • Users can now use a VPN also on Amazon’s new Fire TV Stick 4K Select
    • Only NordVPN and IPVanish have already launched a Vega OS app

Amazon has finally released VPN support for its new Fire TV Stick 4K Select, more than month after its launch.

Unlike previous Amazon streaming devices, the next-generation Fire TV Stick operates with the Linux-based Vega OS, which did not support VPN apps at launch. Until today, at least, when Amazon enabled it through an update.
