If you’re currently working on an older MacBook Air (or any laptop, for that matter), I have a deal that might just tempt you into upgrading to the MacBook Air 13 M4 at Best Buy. The retailer is currently listing the latest model for just $799 (was $999), which is a record-low price for the laptop that we still rate as the best choice for most people.

That’s not news in itself, but it’s a great starting point for an additional trade-in rebate you can stack on top of this week’s upfront discount.

For example, if you have a slightly older MacBook Air M3 in good condition, you can get an impressive trade-in rebate of $600 – enough to bring the price of the latest model down to just $199. Even if you don’t have an M3, you can still get a sizeable discount with Best Buy’s relatively generous trade-in terms.

Combine these discounts, and you’re getting a MacBook Air M4 for serious cheap. In fact, this particular deal is the same one we featured way back on Black Friday last November, so it’s definitely one of the best (if not the best) deals we’ve seen yet on the MacBook Air M4.
