One of Warner Bros.’ most nostalgic franchises of all-time is returning with a new Free Willy remake.
As first revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is officially developing a new reimagining of the Free Willy franchise. Details about the new film are being kept under wraps, though it is set to be penned by The Boroughs‘ Mary-Margaret Kunze and Miller’s Girl‘s Jade Halley Bartlett, while Anthony and Joe Russo are executive producing through their AGBO banner. Angela Russo-Otstot, Michael Disco and Kassee Whiting are also producing for AGBO.
