EXCLUSIVE: Rising Irish actor Dónal Finn has signed with WME for representation in all areas.
Finn can currently be seen in the Amazon Prime Video series Young Sherlock, working opposite Hero Fiennes Tiffin, the Sherlock Holmes to Finn’s Moriarty. Guy Ritchie developed the series alongside
Peter Harness, with Ritchie also executive producing. The series debuted at No. 1 in over 95 countries and ranks amongst the top 10 most-watched Prime Original seasons of all-time.
He also stars as leading man Mr. Hayward in the BBC’s The Other Bennett Sister alongside Richard E. Grant and Indira Varma. The series reimagines Jane Austen’s world through the eyes of Mary Bennet, placing the often-overlooked sister at the center of a fresh Regency-era story of love, ambition, and self-discovery. Mr. Hayward is one of Mary’s love interests, a lawyer and friend of the Gardiners. His closeness with the family brings him into Mary’s orbit.
Additional TV credits include a series regular role as Mat Cauthon in Amazon’s The Wheel of Time, Netflix’s The Witcher, and Cursed.
For the big screen, Finn has just wrapped films from Ritchie and Paul Greengrass. Additional film credits include SAS: Rogue Heroes and Four Letters of Love opposite Helena Bonham Carter and Pierce Brosnan.
On stage, he most recently starred as Mr. Carter Smith in “John Proctor Is The Villain” at the Royal Court in London. He previously starred as Orpheus in the West End production of Anaïs Mitchell’s Tony Award-winning musical “Hadestown,” where he originated the role in London.
He continues to be represented by Independent Talent in the UK and Toczek Suddleson Law Group.
