Zelda Fans Losing It Over New Ocarina Of Time Trailer

[

The Legend of Zelda is turning 40 years old as a franchise this year, with fans around the world celebrating what has been a pretty incredible four decades. Though there have been some highs and lows along the way, it has easily secured its position as one of the most iconic video game series in history, with plenty more to come.

As part of that, the community are expecting Nintendo to bring them some pretty major announcements and new releases to mark the occasion, something they have recently started to do in earnest. Now, fans think they have spotted a particular detail in a recent trailer that might have never been heard before in any capacity.

Zelda Fans Are Already Being Spoiled This Year

Over on Reddit, one user shared a post detailing their belief that the music used in the latest LEGO trailer, which revealed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle set, is actually a never-before-heard orchestral recording. They go on to claim that this adds potential fuel to the fire for the long-rumored Ocarina of Time remake, because it seems a little excessive to record a track on that scale just for a new LEGO set.

It’s a genuinely interesting train of thought, even if it is something of a reach, as fans in the comments tended to agree. “Don’t do this to me. Don’t give me hope. For people thinking about the 3DS version, that is older today (15 Years) then the N64 version was when it came out (13 Years),” one comment read.

Others were considerably less convinced, with one saying, “I know people seem to treat it as an inevitability, but I just don’t see any reason why Nintendo would be interested in remaking OOT right now. They definitely aren’t interested in doing a RE-level reimagining, and the base game is already on NSO, so I don’t think they have any interest in bringing over the 3DS version.”

The Ocarina Of Time Remake Is Almost Guaranteed

The fact remains that there have been notable leaks from reliable sources that seemingly confirm that the Ocarina of Time remake is on the way, and even better than that, it’s targeting a release this year. In a world where AAA games seemingly take a decade or more to produce, it’s nice to have other games dropping in a reasonable time frame. Let’s just hope it all materializes in the way we expect and we’ll all be having a great holiday season, nestled inside the warm embrace of the Great Deku Tree.
