We’ve reviewed a number of Nanoleaf products, with the Nanoleaf 4D screen mirror and lightstrip kit being one of them. We gave it an impressive 4.5 stars and called it “a very effective, more affordable alternative to HDMI sync boxes like the Philips Hue system.” The Nanoleaf 4D is now discounted down to $89.99 (was $99.99).

Matter-enabled smart devices can be connected to one another via a central hub, which means you can mix and match your smart home products, but if you want everything to work smoothly, then we suggest sticking with just one system.
We also wouldn’t recommend a Matter-enabled setup to Apple users because it’s not certified for HomeKit use, but its affordability makes it an excellent starting point for a smart light setup.
