NYT Strands today (game #681) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #681, are…
- PIZZA
- SHERBET
- POPSICLES
- WAFFLES
- VEGETABLES
- SPANGRAM: FROZENFOOD
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 hint
After initially thinking we were searching for cold weather words – “frost” was the first word I spotted in the letter soup – the double-Z in PIZZA set me on a different frozen path.
You can tell a lot about someone from the contents of their freezer. Mine currently contains lots of Christmas leftovers (I buy too much) and ice packs (I’ve got an injured knee) and none of today’s list of FROZENFOOD.
Putting aside my sudden craving for WAFFLES, this was a fun search that I found quite the struggle thanks to the largely right-to-left ordering of the words.
