Even Dell can’t escape RAM crisis price hikes — but I’ve found 5 laptop deals that can save you up to $650 on top-rated devices

With prices soaring for RAM and storage, it doesn’t feel like the best time to be buying a new laptop. And, it’s true, even manufacturers such as Dell are struggling to offer the same low prices I saw in previous sales events. But, the good news is that there are still some good laptop deals available in the manufacturer’s latest Tech Days sale if you’re shopping for a new device.

I’ve picked out the top offers right here, including a solid $420 saving on the Dell 14 Plus. This is the laptop that we scored an impressive four and a half stars out of five in our review, praising it as offering the “best value for its price range of any Windows laptop on the market.”

This version of the Dell 14 Plus on offer nails that still, with its Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage. These combine to offer fantastic power and performance for the price, making it great for all-around use, work, and some more demanding tasks.

If you’d prefer a cheaper option, you could instead go for this Dell 15 Laptop for $239.99 (was $499.99). This looks like a great option to me if you only need a basic and capable 15-inch laptop for everyday use and light work. It’s no performance powerhouse, but with an AMD Ryzen 3 processor, 8GB of RAM and a reasonable 512GB SSD for storage, you’ll have everything you need for comfortable daily use.

It’s worth pointing out that some of these recommended picks have been cheaper before, but with those pricing issues on storage and RAM not going anywhere (and potentially getting worse), I think these are some of the best offers we’ll see for a while, based on my years of experience tracking laptop deals.
