Just two months after its previous season came to a close, The Pitt season 3 has an exciting filming update.
The Noah Wyle-led series centered on a Pittsburgh emergency department has been a smash hit for HBO Max in its first two seasons, earning widespread acclaim, five Emmy Award victories and consistently growing viewership. The Pitt season 3 was confirmed ahead of season 2’s release, with plans for a Summer 2026 filming start in order to stay consistent with the show’s previous release windows.
Now, the official HBO Max Twitter has shared a new video confirming that The Pitt season 3 has officially begun filming. The video sees the badges of the various doctors and nurses confirmed to be returning for the new season, including Ayesha Harris’ Parker Ellis, who was just promoted to a series regular role, and Shawn Hatosy’ fan-favorite Dr. Abbot.
