Piers Morgan World Cup & Royals ‘Uncensored’ Shows Head To Channel 5

Piers Morgan is deepening his relationship with Paramount UK network 5 by bringing his world cup and royals shows to the network.

World Cup Uncensored sees the presenter analyze the games with former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan and former England soccer captain John Terry, along with other guests.

Hosted by journalists Katie Nicholl and Jo Elvin, The Royals Uncensored is and provides analysis and debate around royals news. Piers Morgan Uncensored (PMU) said the YouTube version has amassed more than a million views in its opening weeks.

Both shows launched on YouTube several weeks back and the news follosw Morgan striking a deal with 5 last year that has seen a highlights version of his Uncensored YouTube show air on the network, described by the former CNN and ITV anchor as a “worlds-first collaboration between a YouTube current affairs show and a legacy broadcaster.” Uncensored features Morgan’s take on the week’s news along with high-profile interviews with the likes of Donald Trump, Cristiano Ronaldo and the ‘real-life Martha’ from Baby Reindeer.

Morgan said of today’s news: “This marks a major milestone in the evolution of Uncensored and is a fantastic achievement for the team, especially considering World Cup Uncensored and The Royals Uncensored launched just a few weeks ago. Both shows will land on 5 towards the end of this month.
