Elden Ring Map Expansion Restores Game’s Best Area

Aimed to serve as an “exhaustive overhaul of Elden Ring, with dozens of new weapons, hundreds of new spells, extensively revamped areas and maps, new enemies, bosses and much more”, the Elden Ring: Convergence mod is set to be the largest overhaul for the hit FromSoftware RPG so far.

Currently still in development due to its sheer scale, Elden Ring: Convergence takes both the base game and its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and turns it into a completely new experience. Not only can players look forward to 27 brand-new classes with unique starting locations around the map, but they can also expect to relive boss fights due to boss resurrection, craft talismans and physick tears through the Grace menu and by finding resources around the map, and even teleporting to desired locations after beating the bosses in specific areas courtesy of the Erdtree Network.

Not only that, but even the dungeons throughout Elden Ring have received makeovers, with some including minor tweaks whilst others welcome complete overhauls with more planned for the future. With new equipment up for grabs as well as a myriad of new spells to learn and cast, your dungeon experiences will be completely different, and that is not to mention the brand-new bosses that you will come across thanks to the Elden Ring: Convergence mod.

It is the capital city of Leyndell that we all remember traveling to for the first time in Elden Ring as it is hard to forget those stunning views. However, as part of the Convergence mod, players can now experience the capital in a whole new light thanks to a rework. So much so, that YouTuber vassillios16 has shared a video to their channel, showcasing the new-and-improved Leyndell. By making use of the new pathways, players can access the area’s boss in a new way, as well as make use of those parkour skills in order to reach previously unseen heights.

Elden Ring Is Still Going Strong In 2026
