Jennifer Garner Details “Incredible” Vacation During Ben Affleck Marriage

Jennifer Garner is thinking back to a time when she was thriving during her marriage to Ben Affleck. 

The 13 Going on 30 alum detailed the unforgettable vacation she took with her and the Gone Girl star’s kids Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14, before calling it quits with Affleck in 2015. 

“When my kids were really little, I went to Paris,” Garner told Ina Garten on a recent episode of her Happy Hour podcast. “Ben was shooting some Batman-ish movie in London and we went for six weeks. I took them out of school. It was the last time I really took kids out of school, but it was wonderful. It was incredible. It was so fun.”

As for what made the getaway so special?

“And part of that is that we bopped around,” Garner recalled. “We went to Venice, we went to Paris.”

And while the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor was busy getting into character as Bruce Wayne, it was Garten who suggested the Alias actress explore the French city by boat. 

Since then, it’s turned into a full-blown tradition for the Daredevil actress. How fabulous is that?
