Taylor Sheridan‘s impact can be felt all over the streaming landscape. Will There Be a ‘Heat 2’?
Speculation of a sequel to Mann’s magnum opus has been rife for years, and, finally, it appears that Heat 2is going ahead. Cast member Christian Baleconfirmed back in February that shooting on the sequel would begin soon, saying, “…I’ll be back in Chicago, I think, on Heat 2 soon.” Bale will reunite with Mann after starring as FBI agent Melvin Purvis in the 2009 crime drama Public Enemies, with Leonardo DiCaprio set to star opposite Bale in Heat 2. The sequel is based on the bestselling 2022 novel of the same name, which Mann co-authored with Meg Gardiner, with the legendary Jerry Bruckheimer set to produce.
