Whereas Yang went from a ruthless, fairly asocial gunner to an endearingly prickly phenom, George’s character development took a lovably awkward fish out of water and turned him into an aggravating “nice guy” archetype.

After laying the foundation with the first two installments, Grey’s Anatomy season 3 introduced numerous game-changing characters, including Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh), Meredith’s half-sister.
