Suki Waterhouse Makes Rare Comments on Bradley Cooper Romance

Suki Waterhouse learned a bit about how to love, to love, to love in the public eye from Bradley Cooper.

The Daisy Jones & The Six star shared a rare look back at her first experience with a high-profile romance in her early 20s—she dated Cooper, who was in his late 30s, from 2013 to 2015—admitting she was going into loveland without a road map. 

“When you’re younger, you go into everything so blindly and you don’t think of the consequences, including maybe of relationships,” Waterhouse explained in an interview with The Times published Oct. 31, not naming Cooper explicitly. “You don’t really have any concept of any repercussions of being in things that are public.”

In the more than a decade since, Waterhouse has built a life with Robert Pattinson—with whom she welcomed a daughter in 2024—and learned, “You can have a private life and a public life at the same time.”

And though she didn’t during her romance with Cooper, the 34-year-old shared, “I know how to separate those two.”

Once she met the Twilight alum in 2018, Waterhouse assured she was more than ready to go the distance.
