Daniel Radcliffe Details Influence on His, Erin Darke’s Son’s Accent 

Daniel Radcliffe’s son gives him every brilliant thing he could ever want. 

After the Harry Potter alum scored a Best Lead Actor Tony nomination for his starring role in the Broadway show Every Brilliant Thing, he shared that his and longtime partner Erin Durke’s son gives him plenty of bullet points on his own personal list. 

“My list of brilliant things is entirely composed of things my son says or does right now,” Daniel mused in an exclusive E! News interview at the Tony Awards Meet The Nominees event in New York May 14. “We’ve all agreed that if there was a sequel to this play it would be that the characters have children and the thousands of good things that happen when you’re with them.”

And his 3-year-old’s manner of speaking just might be at the top of that brilliant things list. 

“My son’s weird accent, I’d say is a brilliant thing because he’s obviously pulled between me, English and the rest of who he knows, which is American,” Daniel explained, “and so he’s just got this great, weird little voice. You can never predict how he’s going to say a word. It’s really pretty great.”
