While the lineup of the fest headed by marketing guru and festivals specialist Tiziana Rocca is still being finalised, and thus still under wraps, it will feature more than 50 titles, many of them premieres, including international and Italian films, documentaries, restored works, television series, and shorts, according to a press release.
Other confirmed international guests include “Shadowhunter” star Katherine McNamara and Italy’s Sveva Alviti, who starred in “Dalida” and will present her latest film, the Cannes-set romantic drama “The Other Side of Fame” directed by Erik Bernard.
Highlights of the fest’s upcoming edition were unveiled during a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival where Rocca said she will soon be announcing lots more A-list talents soon, as well as a rich lineup of movies and panels.
“Once again this year, the festival will bring major figures from the global arts scene to Sardinia, along with many new initiatives that demonstrate our commitment to continuing to innovate and create opportunities for dialogue between artists, the public, and new generations,” Rocca said in the statement.
