One Stranger Things star is set to return to Netflix with an AI thriller film.
Per Deadline, Caleb McLaughlin, who played Lucas across all five seasons of Stranger Things, has joined the cast of an untitled AI thriller from director Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Also cast in the film are Jeff Daniels, Rachel McAdams, Joel Edgerton, and Nnamdi Asomugha.
Gordon-Levitt wrote the script for the film with Kieran Fitzgerald from a story by Natasha Lyonne. Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman will produce the film through T-Street Productions. Filming on the project is expected to get underway this summer.
