EXCLUSIVE: Martin Sheen, who has portrayed troubled U.S. Army special forces officers and Presidents, has new representation.
The Emmy-winning actor has signed with Paradigm. He has previously been repped by CAA.
Sheen is best known for roles including playing Captain Willard in Francis Ford Coppola’s classic Apocalypse Now, President Jed Bartlet in NBC’s The West Wing and Robert Hanson in Netflix’s Grace and Frankie.
Sheen made his New York stage debut in The Connection before earning a Tony Award nomination for the Broadway production of The Subject Was Roses. He later starred in its 1968 film adaptation, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination.
Other credits include Judas And The Black Messiah, The Departed, Badlands, Catch Me If You Can, The American President, Wall Street, Badlands, The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane, Bobby, Gettysburg and The Amazing Spider-Man.
On The West Wing, he received six Emmy nominations, a Golden Globe Award and two SAG Awards for playing President Bartlet. He won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on Murphy Brown.
Recent roles include as a con man on season two of Canadian drama Wild Cards and in feature comedy Lost & Found in Cleveland.
Upcoming projects include Christmas movie The One, directed by Lisa Arnold, and The Way: Chapter 2, directed by his son Emilio Estevez.
He is also known for his political activism and has been a key supporter of the Democratic Party. He also hosts The Martin Sheen Podcast.
