Taylor Sheridan’s TV universe has always had a thing for musicians, so this latest casting update feels pretty on-brand. From Ryan Bingham to Lainey Wilson, the wider Yellowstone world has made a habit of pulling country and Americana talent into the drama, usually in ways that make the setting feel even more lived-in. Dutton Ranch is keeping that tradition going. Ahead of the spinoff’s May launch, Paramount+’s next big Beth and Rip chapter has added another singer-songwriter to its growing Texas ensemble.
According to Deadline, Morgan Wade has joined Dutton Ranch in a recurring role. She’ll play Carol, a bartender at the local watering hole in Rio Paloma, Texas, who “sees all.” That’s a pretty juicy part for a show like this, especially one shifting Beth and Rip into an entirely new environment where information, loyalties, and tension are all likely to flow through one local hangout. Dutton Ranch premieres Friday, May 15, 2026, with its first two episodes on Paramount+, followed by weekly Friday releases through the nine-episode season. The series will also air on Paramount Network beginning the same day.
