Tanigaki began his career as a stuntman, eventually lending his expertise as a stunt coordinator and fight choreographer on a number of films, including John Wick: Chapter 4, and finally as a filmmaker. Now, he helms The Furious, which follows Wang Wei (Miao) on a mission to rescue his daughter (Yang Enyou), who’s been kidnapped by a criminal network. When Wei receives no help from the corrupt police, he’s determined to find her himself, no matter the cost, setting off on a rampage. Wei is aided only by Navin (Taslim), a relentless journalist who is in search of his wife (Jija Yanin), who also mysteriously disappeared. On a journey of furious vengeance, the unlikely duo fights their way through a seedy underworld to track down their loved ones in an explosive martial arts showdown.

The Furious also stars Brian Le (The Paper Tigers), Joey Iwanaga (Alice in Borderland), Sahajak Boonthanakit (Only God Forgives), Manatsanun Phanlerdwongsakul (Sweet Dreams), with a special appearance by Yayan Ruhian (Star Wars: The Force Awakens).
